Postby JdmTeg99 » February 8th, 2010, 3:28 am

I have ls-vtec, Ive decided i want to turbo, But i don't know what is the best turbo kit that capable spool fast Garret /Turbonetic/ Bullseye power/ Precision. My goal is 500-600whp on pump gas an is daily driven. I still want to use A/c for the summer. I heard alot about skunk2 Pros 1 vs Skunk2 Tuner 1 but i don't know what to choice for my turbo set up.

Here is my set up:

B18a Ls block bored out
84mm with golden eagle block guard no sleeve
84mm Comestic Headgasket
Balanced and Blueprinted
golden eagle rods
b18a crank
Gsr oil pump
Moroso Oil Pan
Mahle 9:1 Pistons

Jdm ITR head :
port an polish 3 angle
Supertech Flat valves
Supertech Retainers/springs
KMS Bronze Guides
ARP Head Studs
Aem cams gear
Edelbrock Victor X Intake Manifold
ITR Throttle Body
Hondata Intake Manifold Gasket
P2R Thermal Throttle Body Gasket
Aem fuel rail
Aem fuel regulator
Blueprinted

I have 2 set off injector RC 550cc an Precision 1000cc.

If that block at 84mm that isnt sleeved is going to crack a sleeve and go out of round in no time flat. Dont even waste your time trying to run it, its not going to work at all.

the block is stock sleeved 84mm with a golden eagle block guard, should i run turbonetic t3/t4 drag kit for now it is safe. Or i just wait an get it sleeve the block an do bigger turbo at once time, If i sleeve the block what is your recommend on Bullseye power 362 or Bullseye power 366, my goal if is sleeved 800whp on track low boost daily drive.

Even with an 82mm, the sleeves are getting super thin. I wont even build an all motor engine at 82mm with stock sleeves.

The s366 would support 800-850 whp at most.

If i sleeve the block what is the good side to i can go with 82mm or smaller, can i still use mahle Piston or i have to buy different Brand. Do i need block girdle with that set up.

With sleeving you can go up to 85mm, although I would keep the bore on the smaller side at first so you can overbore down the road if needed. If you dont plan on putting alot of mileage on the engine, you dont need a girdle.
