CKP CEL TDC and CPS CELs

Postby prelude1984 » January 9th, 2010, 4:16 pm

I have an OBD1 hondata s300 on a P72 in my 95 prelude with an h22 engine.
Recently the car has been sounding loud, making a sound kinda like a truck when idling.

I then began to throw CELs, the first being CPS...then I got a TDC sensor.....more recently I am just getting the CKP CEL.
I just replaced the dizzy which i know contains these sensors on OBD1 cars. I thought it was just the dizzy going bad.

At this point I am not sure if there could be an issue with the hondata or if this could be an issue with timing or something else.

Please help me ponder what to check next. :?: :?: :?:

Thanks!

Make sure the timing belt is lined up at TDC correctly with the cams/crank. 99% of the time when the codes are thrown its a wiring related issue. Make sure the harness connector is in good working condition, and the ecu pins are not loose for those respective sensors.
